About pgDay Paris

pgDay Paris is an international PostgreSQL event held each year in Paris, France. Born of the Paris PostgreSQL User Group meetups, pgDay Paris began in 2015 and has since continued to grow in popularity and participation.

While there are other PostgreSQL events—both in Europe and beyond—the Paris event has the advantage of being held in a major European capital easily accessible to a wide range of participants and therefore catering to a large PostgreSQL community.

The first pgDay Paris event (2015) included just under 85 participants; in 2019, the event had grown to just over 175 attendees.

pgDay Paris is a single-track, single-day event, and is held in person. We recognize that this may make attendance difficult for some; however, we believe that this approach provides the best possible balance between safety and community building. Our event emphasizes growth in knowledge and growth in interconnectivity, and we are excited to continue that trend in 2022.

Attendance

The 2022 event is limited to 150 attendees due to COVID-19; however, additional tickets may become available should restrictions be lifted.
